Thanks for the replies. The router has been branded a MWEB router with the text on the box itself stating "This modem is locked to the MWEBISP network" :( I have access to the web interface on the router but the username/password section is "tweaked" so that you enter the first p...

MWEB ADSL

HI So I've finally got ADSL, problem is it's through the MWEB 1 year contract with free router. Not too bad by itself but limited to 1 Gig. I want to make use of other ISP's at cheaper rates when I reach my cap but the router has been "tweaked" in MWEB's favour. Anyone know how to go about...

Banged up Bugatti

OH Buga! A supercar worth £830,000 is loaded on to a truck after the world’s costliest road crash. The sleek Bugatti Veyron — one of only a dozen in the UK — was wrecked in a smash in pouring rain. Yesterday insurance assessors began working out whether the hand-built French motor was repairable — ...

Hi Guys

It was just a zonealarm thing. I added the IP's and subnet to the trusted zone and it's sorted. It would have helped if zonealarm had popped up so I knew it was the problem.

Anyway, thanks for ll the help.

Hi Guys Thanks for the reponses. @qace: yip, it's enabled and I've switched off the "simple" file sharing in XP, got a folder on both machines set for sharing, added a whole bunch of users and gave full access (i'll worry about security later) even reenabled the guest accounts (something I...

Hi Guys I'm really lost here. I just got a new laptop with Win XP Pro and I want to transfer my files from my old laptop with Win 2000 Pro. I've got a crossover cable which I used when I got my first laptop to move everything from my Win 2000 Pro PC to the Win 2000 Pro Laptop, everything worked fine...

Hi Guys

Anyone know of a TSQL function to grab the number of days in a month, or will I have to calculate it myself?

Thanks

What office app did you use to create the site, the code is bloated with m$ junk. I remember having to fix code like it for a client, if you leave it like this other browsers won't work properly.

Try find a different WYSIWYG.

Just some advice.

Your links on the homepage are wrong, they reference a directory "index_files" If I strip this from the url it works, no content but it works. Not all the images on the front page work. You might also want to rename your pages to something other than numbers, you'll find it easier to maint...

Go with 5, it's backwards compatible with 4 and allows you to make use of OO design when you want to. (4 does allow for OO design but not to the extent of 5)

Is there a price difference between them?

A bit of advice, remove the target="_blank" from your links. It gets annoying having each page open a new window. Your using alot of CSS, I'm assuming you used some kind of WYSIWYG to build it, right? Your going to have to look at your div placements, you have hundreds all over the place (...

Have you fully installed asp.net? Once you've got the .NET sdk installed you should run aspnet_regiis.exe from C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727 (<-whatever version youve got installed) That will setup all file types with IIS. If you want to run multiple versions of asp.net you can set it ...
