Suse dialup

Post by v1c »

Hi Guys

Ive just installed Suse 9.2 on my laptop and Im pretty impressed so far, it managed to set up my sound and detect my wacom tablet as well as detect my laptops winmodem, unlike slackware 9. However, Im having trouble dialing into Mweb via KDE, as I said the modem has been detected but Im not sure if my settings are right, could anyone give me a rough config for dialing up using KDE's kdialup thing.

Thanks

You have to go and configure your modem in the KDE manger under network hardware its not hard to find.

Haven't used SuSE for a couple of months now, but from what I can remember, you need to setup the "Network" option in YaST. Pretty much like its gone in Windows.
