Positioning a calendar and a clock on site

Post by ben59 »

Hello
I am a new to html & this great site.
I'm using IE6 and trying to add a calendar.htc next to a swiss ananlog clock 3_01 on one page.
At this moment I've got another clock next to the calender which I dont like.
Both files can be found with google.
Can it be done.
See my calendar page http://myweb.absamail.co.za/benvisser10/

Welcome, Ben, to the pcf forums, have fun, check out the forum rules and ask jamin about his midget unicorn fetish. :) Hope you enjoy your stay.

What is the clock and calendar written in?

Which page are these on so we can have a look at the code?

A bit of advice, remove the target="_blank" from your links. It gets annoying having each page open a new window.

Your using alot of CSS, I'm assuming you used some kind of WYSIWYG to build it, right? Your going to have to look at your div placements, you have hundreds all over the place (probably generated by the component your adding). Maybe try using tables instead, they're easier to control but not really standards compliant.

Have a look at http://www.w3schools.com for some tutorials, you'll probably be able to build your on calender once your finished with that site.

I think you must rather keep your no comment to yourself than replying on a forum
I only made a mistake with my sentence

I found this cool looking analog clock that will sit in the bottem right corner of your webpage.
It is in Java script and easy to edit.

Hope it helps

Click view source and look for the script at the bottem.
Its from http://www.dynamicdrive.com/
