I have called my seven year old PackardBell Lauwfandah because its big and black and it makes this funny noise that sounds like "can I getta amen" (I think that's actually the hardrive failing).

^^ I thought it was only me

I put on old Seagate medallist 1.2Gb in my pc just so it would make that noise. Sadly the high-pitched noise it makes the rest of the time is rather irritating, so I took it out :(

Perhaps it would be prudent to first determine whether your computer is male or female before naming it.
  • Open Notepad
  • Type or copy paste: CreateObject("SAPI.SpVoice").Speak"I love you"
  • Save as computer_gender.vbs
  • Run the file.
If you hear a male voice you have a boy, if a woman’s voice, it’s a girl.
