My current machine I call "Excalibur". I shall probably name the one I am putting together at the end of the year "Christine".

My gf calls min B*tch. They don't really get on. I don't get to play on the weekends any more
What I type has nothing to do with the people that employ me.

Re: What name have you given to your PC?
I have called my seven year old PackardBell Lauwfandah because its big and black and it makes this funny noise that sounds like "can I getta amen" (I think that's actually the hardrive failing).

It sounds funny now but I actually miss the sounds those old HDD's used to make when you started the PC.Bazatt wrote:I have called my seven year old PackardBell Lauwfandah because its big and black and it makes this funny noise that sounds like "can I getta amen" (I think that's actually the hardrive failing).

Re: What name have you given to your PC?
I thought it was only me
I put on old Seagate medallist 1.2Gb in my pc just so it would make that noise. Sadly the high-pitched noise it makes the rest of the time is rather irritating, so I took it out

Re: What name have you given to your PC?
Perhaps it would be prudent to first determine whether your computer is male or female before naming it.
- Open Notepad
- Type or copy paste: CreateObject("SAPI.SpVoice").Speak"I love you"
- Save as computer_gender.vbs
- Run the file.
