GTX480 graphics card - where to but offline

Post by GregH »

Any one know where I can walk in to a shop and walk out 15 minutes later with a GTX480 under my arm? Around Johannesburg, Midrand , Centurion area. Don't feel like buying online, waiting 5 days for my stuff to arrive :x

Thanks!

Try a Computermania. The card is too expensive for retailers to keep stock of so you will be lucky if you manage to get one.

jeez man - i didnt read the whole post & thought you wanted to steal one LOL :-D the whole under your arm thing made me think that haha

anyway - starbound is right, the 480 is way to expensive - you can try Titan ice,i bought there a few times & they got pretty expensive things in stock

hope this helps.

:-) Just got off the phone with Evetech - they have one in stock and are willing to part with it in exchange for piles of cash. Off to them right now!

Thanks!

It's a disease - called compulsive obsessive disorder. When I eventually decide I need it, gotta have it NOW :-)

EVGA is generally very good yes. I would've got that, but I got my Inno3D for R4200 from a connection, which was fantastic at the time...
