Excel VBA "mid(string, start ,len)" doesnt work. (Solved)

Post by DeeVeeDee »

Hi I started creating an Excel sheet with a load of macro's in it.

Its Excel 2007 but the file i was working on is in 2003 format running in compatibility mode.

So now i wanted to run the sheet on a users pc which has 2003 and its complaining about the mid VBA function.

If i start a new sheet create a test macro and use mid then it works fine, its just on my sheet it doesnt work.
How is this possible ?

EDIT
Sorry for the post but i have managed to fix it.
Something weird went wrong with the VB references, I removed what i could and only put the defaults back and it worked. :?
