Pakistan blocks Facebook, YouTube

Post by Drakonis »

Pakistan’s Telecommunications Authority (PTA) yesterday ordered local Internet service providers to block access to Facebook as a result of the ‘Everybody Draw Mohammed Day’ online movement. Pakistan’s government followed this up today by also ordering access to YouTube be blocked, apparently because of sacrilegious content hosted on the website

It's the right approach. If you don't want to see it, then don't look at it.
At least they're not encouraging everyone to look at the pictures and then blow things up.

A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.
