Where do I get Ubuntu drivers?

Either linux drivers are FAR superior to windows since they take a full 64kb or they dont exist at all. Current driver hunt for 64-bit linux:

Creative soundblaster X-Fi extreme music
ATI 4980

and in the near future I am looking for

Nvidia
Xonar

I havent installed linux. I just tried the demo from the cd but I lack proper resolution support and have no sound and cant get connected to the internet.

Try the manufacturers. And good luck with Creative.

++... their driver support is dodgy at best on windows... almost criminal on linux... :/

ATI has good support on ubuntu.... nvidia lags a little but is still fairly solid..

I think I saw creative drivers that were like I said 64kb big. If I wanted silence I wont download anything. It takes up more data to get to the point where they say "no driver" than to leave it anyway.
