Telkom internet question

Post by gfunk19 »

hey all

Just wanna know if the Telkom local cap still exists. Ive got a 384 kbps line with 1 gig cap. Coz last year I used to play COD4 on the sgs servers (local) like all the time - sometimes like every day of the month for atleast 2 hours.. Since i started playing again this year COD4 has been chowing my cap broken :( .... ohwell replies appreciated

First, how about getting a network monitoring tool just to make sure the culprit is indeed COD? And how sure are you that your username and password have not been compromised?

AFAIK you only start using local bandwidth after your first international 1GB is done(on a 1GB account). So the first GB is blended and the next 9GB is local only.

Yup Nuke is spot on..

Buy yourself a local only account for online games that have local servers...works great
