Linux Newbie Administrator Guide

Post by Thrall »

Available here as a zipped PDF-file, or here in website-form.

I've used this guide ever since I started fiddling with RedHat 5.2 a few years ago. I'm still no boffin, but I've found this guide invaluable for people new to Linux - figured it was about time I posted it.

Great stuff! Thanks Thrall
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

well...I'm just gonna jump in here and blurt a couple words. :P

Try gentoo linux. Its not for newbies really but if you know anything about linux then you should try it. Oh, and you're gonna need a decent internet connection if you want the latest packages.

But once its all compiled and set up. It truly does fly. :D :D :D
