Hi guys

Im looking for a Junior Web Designer to join the creative digital media team.

Company is based in Robindale, Randburg.


Responsibilities
You'll work closely with a team under guidance of the creative manager in determining the art direction of new digital projects.

Creative
• Implement the conceptual and visual direction of each project
• Ensure that the highest creative and design standards are met
• Prepare and present your own creative solutions with the team

Production
• Be involved with projects from the brainstorming session all the way through to the final delivery and client sign-off
• Assist when needed in pitches and client presentations
• Assist the team of designers to deliver the best possible work
• Make sure that design guidelines and consistency standards are met
• Liaise with members of the technical team


Requirements
You'll need to be adept in all relevant design software and practices.

• Excellence in Adobe CS: Flash, Photoshop and Freehand
• An ability to code HTML is an advantage
• An understanding of DHTML and Java Script
• An understanding of CSS
• Entry level PHP coding is an advantage.
• Understanding of CMS is an advantage.
• AS2 knowledge is an advantage.

Ultimately im looking for some RAW talent and a passion for excellence. Training will be provided where needed.

Good point. Javascript is not essential but rather an advantage. The person should at least know what js is.

You don't need anyone for J2EE or ASP web development

Not permanent no.

We dev in PHP mostly but might need ASP from time to time for certain clients.

I know PHP as well. But it was like 5 odd years ago that I really last worked with it.
