Which game? Only one!
Which game? Only one!
Guys, I want to get a new game today. Can afford only one though, so I want to know which you think I should get. Pro Street, GoW, Crysis, Hellgate, CoD4 ect. Please give me an idea of which you think is good. Thanks, Llewellyn.

COD4 was a awesome game, but very quick! if you want a game that will last you till you can buy another game in a while, then get hellgate, you can play it over and over again and each time you do it will be unique due to the multiple classes, and random level generation etc...
when in doubt, paddle out...

I've got Crysis and Hellgate. I find Crysis short (I finished it in just under 5 hours) and Hellgate is just boring, I haven't even finished it and I gave up playing it and I don't usually do that in games
So my vote is COD4, at least its LAN multiplayer and scales to older pcs properly, unlike Crysis. Hellgate doesn't even have LAN

it depends if you can play online ... if you can i suggest COD4 since i bought the game i have been on all the SA servers saix, IS and iburst all of them are extremely good, the saix servers are almost always full but they are abit strict and definitely enforce their rules ... a month ban for swearing 8O ... the iburst servers are enjoyable and the admins are cool ... the IS servers had some downtime which wasnt a good thing

What about the witcher? I am busy playing it, and I am quite enjoying it...
FPS's I'm not into at all, so I cant comment there, and NFS PS, was also a bit short, and you can't drive around town anymore... I still play most wanted quite often, stuffing around in town with the cops

There are doorways I haven`t opened and windows I`ve yet to look through, going forward may not be the answer, maybe I should go back!

My ideas
I would most probably say Crysis. Best FPS I have ever played.
Second to that, most probably Rome: Total War.

Bioshock
Bioshock, now that was an amazing game as well! Brilliant story, and unique and interactive environment. That would be the third best game for me .

I'd say COD4 only because of gametrailers.com . Your system can run Crysis but you'll sacrifice a lot of detail to get it running properly.
Go check out their awards then decide. But from the sound of it COD4 is a good move. As for Hellgate stay away from it till they release the sequal or something. The game is loaded with bugs.

Dude, CoD4 is brilliant. Short, but it makes up for that in multiplayer. The Graphics in Cod4 is such that they look good, without taxing your system.
But, Crysis offers longer playtimes (as you explore the island).
If you're going to be LANning a lot, or playing on the Net, the CoD4 is the way to go.

It is your choice.
Do not listen to those who state that Crysis is "only graphics".
I can assure you now, it is a lot of fun as well!
Also, what are you smoking? You have the same GPU as I have! You most certainly do not need to play Crysis on Very High to enjoy it's next gen graphics.
Trust me, once you go Crysis, you do not go back!

Guys guys guys. You starting to sound like salesmen from competing products! Lol. I do like the idea of LANning, and I did enjoy CoD2 a lot. Unfortunately I won't be online mp'ing. So is the story of CoD worthwhile then? If I had the funds I'd get both and see. But that would mean money wasted on the one that will inevitably taking the back seat.
