Wow, Final Fantasy XIII's Fabula Nova Crystallis universe was announced at E3 today...

Here is FFXIII for the PS3:

It seems there will also be Final Fantasy versus XIII for the PS3, and Final Fantasy XIII Agito for Mobile phones.

Of course, we are all anticipating the FFVII spinoff FPS game for the PS2, Final Fantasy VII Dirge of Cerberus:

And Final Fantasy XII which is coming on my birthday:

FFXII got a perfect score from Famitsu, and sold 1.7 million copies on its first day, meking it platinum already. Can't wait to get these two PS2 games this year!!!

PS. FFVIII was the best Final Fantasy ever made...

I played:
FF1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 10-2...
Didnt feel like 2 and 3, and I still am trying to get ahold of 9.

Cmon guys... proclaiming its the best when its the only one you've played is ghey.

If there is somebody here who's played many and says something else is the best, I would love to have a debate. Afterall, fans have arguments.

FFVIII is a souped up FFVII with a much better story basically.

You're unlikely to find a copy of it, I heard they're really rare.

It was fun for a while, I never finished it though.

My cousin got himself ff9 in portugal when he was there. Quite cool i must say, but i prefer watchn someone play it.

PC versions would be nice. Guess they had so many bugs with 7 and 8 they decided it was not worth it...

ya man i agree. i playin ff8 on de pc....it is de best. i don't have problems with it tho

anyway. i still want 7...any1 know where i cud get a copy?

I have all originals, and the aditional emulated FF7,8, and 9 on the pc as well....
It is such a hassle just to get them to run properly, and anyways I need my analog controller when playing any ff above 6.

Anybody who has 9 on PS1 (original only) please let me know!

Are any of you guys getting the upcoming FF games?
When I get my PS3, its gonna be for FF and Gran Turismo.

I have 1,2,3,4,5,6 on Snes.

I wanted to get Origins and Chrystal Chronicles, but when I ordered them, Ster Kinekor decided not to bring PS1 games to South Africa anymore...

I wish I could get Origins, Chrystal Chronicles, and Tactics on the playstation.

I got an original from amazon uk. Got a friend there so did not have to pay postage at least. However at the time 8 was playing up - graphics went weird after my last upgrade. I'm hoping 8 will work fine on my new rig after which I'll give 7 a spin.

er yes, well perhaps you could borrow rather than copy. People get a bit tense around here when you mention copying...even though it seems common practice. :biggrin:

I've done a bit of exploring today

for FFVII
Seems you can get a high res patch, upgraded model patch and sound patch as well as the fix for 8 bit palatted textures which should allow you to run FFVII with 8Xanti Aliasing. I must give them a try!!

Anyone tried them out?
