Freeware Movie Maker

Post by Supreem1 »

Anyone know of a good one?

I'm looking for something like Window's one (can capture from my camera's usb) and has nifty features like slowmo, text titles, add effects and other stuff.

Try googling for a freeware program called Wax... it doesn't have capture features as far as I know but can do titles and compositing.

You can also try out Magix Movie Maker 10 silver - it's freeware but has some features disabled which are available in the gold version.

Nero Showtime is very good. You can download a demo from their website. ;)

Google for Kino. I'm not sure if its available to MS Windows users though, but still check it out just in case.

It has most of the features you mention and it can capture from Firewire. I've only used it on Linux and while its not very "flashy" it does get the job done.

What is this "Microsoft" that you speak of? Washing powder? Coffee? Correction fluid? I can't figure it out. Anyone else know?
