You're wasting your time trying to OC that card IMO.
If you OC it to death it may take your AGP slot with it.
Depends on how big the bang is....
It will probably overheat and hang/reboot your machine long before it goes nuclear though....have fun :D

Why wasting my time? should be fun. try new mods on it and see how far i can take it. If it has even a slight chance of taking my AGP slow with it then i dont think its worth it. Thanks for your help neway.

I suppose i could do it in my old P2 but that wont be woth it cause benchies will be CPU limited.

I doubt there is a high chance it will take anything out tho.
I had a Leadtek MX440SE, and when it got too hot or unstable it used to just cause the whole PC to reboot.

I oced my card to over 5200 speed and my dad played COD the whole day like that. The heatsink was so hot u could not even touch it. It did not bomb out once.

My old Leadtek MX440 , still in my closet, could OC a bit on stock cooling, but it picked up artifacts qjuite quickly. Its not even that it overheated, as the heatsink was still touchable... What brand do you have?

unless a capacitor goes and spills stuff on the motherboard, i dnt think it could damage the other hardware. Heat and data flow cannot "break" an AGP port (my 2c)

These days it damn hard to OC a card to death, and besides, when it dies it will go out with a whisper, its not gonna go all Die Hard: Vengance on ur a$$
