I wanted to take a loan out to buy a bike last year, the bank was happy to give it to me...at a 43% interest rate. I lol'd and cried at the same time lol
Was funny as hell! Didn't take the loan though, including admin fees etc i would have paid back just about double what I received. Buggers. I'm sure "banker" is a promotion from "mugger".
@SBSP: I'm currently paying R1946 a month for that little golfie. And being a carb I'm only getting about 9.2litres/100km. Manufacturer estimates on the Yaris is 6.2/6.3. Insurance is about R920 a month.

At 43% the interest paid over the finance period will be more than the original amount financed. (Or could be more :p )

regarding Corsas, do a search on the forums, there was a thread a few years back about the quality issues. wouldn't touch one, even if they have improved the quality and the other thing is, AFAIK, general motors is having major finacial trouble.
