I did all this last week and a have 2 characters already.
you can do a huge ammount of things in this virtual world from fighting to economy to magic. my first character hasnt fought a single monster and is instead getting rich by lumberjacking and mining and blacksmithy. i have 2 pack horses to help me carry and can almost afford a small house in which to store stuff and decorate (yes like sims). if youre bored of that train up fighting skills and go explore the dungeons and forests. my second character is a thief. yes you can steal from other players and npc's
but dont worry in the towns and citys you can type 'guards' and guards will teleport in and 1-shot him
