GPU Volt Modding & BIOS Updating?
Hi Guys,
I want to increase my GPU voltage with NiBiTor. Now I change the volts using NiBiTor and save the BIOS file. I then created a Bootable USB Stick with Win 98 Files which takes me to DOS on startup. When I try flash the GPU using nvidia NVFlash I get a General Protection Fault Exception, no matter what command I use for NVFlash.
Could one of the GURU's please assist??
Thanks a lot.

Sorted, seems to have been a prob with the NVflash version.
Changed the BIOS throttle Volt from 1.0V to 1.1V and so far have a stable clock of 750/1850/1015.
Gonna aim for 800 core but we'll see if it gets there.
Cheers

I got 780 Mhz / 1900 Shader / 1.0Ghz Mem semi-stable, temp causes problems after about an hour. I haven't tried to push the mem yet. It doesn't really make much difference because my CPU isn't fast enough to get major results. I get 8900 3dm06 and the score doesn't really move if I overclock or not, 16xQ AA only drops my score a few hundred points, lol. I'm contemplating QX9650, the other 45nm quads are too FSB sensitive for my liking. The cheap 45nm quads turned out to be a disappointment as far as overclocking is concerned.
I can run 800Mhz core for a minute or two but it seems that as soon as the temp gets to around 55C it can't handle that clock. I'll see if better cooling makes a difference when I get around to it.
