So I installed the new patch, they fix the issues I was having with the gear shifting, but now I am having a even worse issue, the dead zone is the size of a contenant, I can drive and turn my G25 90 degree's before it starts turning, what crap is this? Im so sick of these arcade EA racing games!

I downloaded the "DVD version" patch and installed it. Now my game starts up and before I even get to the first screen the game stops working

My house mate is getting the same problem.
Don't know if its just in vista.

Same. Some people on teh internets says it's a problem with your download, try dling it again, if you have cap left

AAARRRGGHHH!!! Im so fricking irritated! I have restarted a career like 4 times cos of this frickin Wade Jackson character!! I finish the first battle machine, and then take the Cobalt as car reward. Modify the Cobalt a bit with more power and enter next race day. Win everything, beating track records etc EXCEPT for the frickin drag races. This Wade Jackson keeps beating me....and Im pushing the Cobalt to its limit!! Added to that....I have like 100 extra HP than him!! Its driving me insane!!

So now...Im starting my 5th career. Im only gonna use the 200SX and have differetn blue prints for different types of races. This way I can spend all my cash on 1 car...

How you guys getting past this character????

There is a walkthrough available for NFS Prostreet PC version. (Google it!)

Points you in the right direction when you a little stuck ... just a suggestion

I've just started so I'll see how it goes.

btw why does Pro Street look like CRAP on a playstation. . .I thought it would look alot better. Also now that ive actually played it I think they put a bit to much emphasis on understeer. What I do like though is how separating acceleration and braking actually rewards you (like in real life) and also I think they nailed the drifting, is pretty good fun. They added lift off oversteer and everything.

So far I cant really complain about the game

Yeah, that b@stard Wade, I know the feeling dude. If you want to you can use the 200SX, pretty good at drags in the beginning - as mr. Jackson shows us

If you're good at all the other types of racing, a second or third place in the drags isn't that bad. You'd still win a race day

Thanks for the info guys. Ok...so here is the low down.

I used the Cobalt to drag. Lefdt as it is when you get it....best time I got was 12.63. Fricking jackson gets at 12.3. So I dunno....maybe Im **** at drag racing. Then I decided to sell the Cobalt and use the 200 for drags. But it said the 200 was only for grip. So how do you set the 200 for drag???

You know what I did to get pats Mr. Jackson? I bought the Subaru. That car really motors on those drags. It was THE ONLY WAY past jackson for me. Try it maybe...

No. This is the biggest thing that I HATE about ProStreet - there is no:
My Cars
Challenge Series
Free Roaming
Proper car handling
Any single player mode (except career mode)
Neon lights
Police
Cut scenes (Almost None, maybe 2 or 3)
Story Line
etc...

I am starting to get annoyed by this dumb arcade game

As far as I can see a 4wd car becomes RWD in drag mode. Am I wrong.

Oh ya. If you want an allmighty drag car get the Dodge Charger and tune it to the max. Runs low 7's if tuned right.
