Print server - help

Post by Gromit »

I have a Kyocera FS-720 laser printer that I need to connect to our network via a print server. I purchaced a Canyon CN-PRINT1 single USB port 10/100M print server. I set it up but nothing, but if I connect it to an HP inkjet printer it works like a charm.

Is there something I am missing here? Maybe an incompatablility with the driver I am using?

well that is becouse Kyocera sucks and HP rules !!!

but apart from that, check compatability of the Print sererver with that printer on the Kyocera website or the Canyon website. Also firmware updates.

Might be, but then again, I don't have much experience with print servers. I worked on a Nashua MFP once, and I noticed it has a built in print server, maybe your Kyocera has one too?
