mxit ver5.2

It was set to be up for release today....
but you have to be a mxit freestyler to download

Did you guys upgrade to mxit ver5.2 as yet?

What new features does ver5.2 have?

Is the software stable and worth upgrading to?

Isnt this a thread for the Mxit forum? Aparently the Freestylers are supposed to get upgraded first though, I couldnt care when the next version came out, my current one is fine

You won't get it, because if you go on mxit now, tradepost will tell you it will be availible from tomorrow for FREESTYLERS only.

I would not pay a cent to become free styler to get the new version of the mix, just wait a bit and you will get it for free man

ever noticed how wenever a new version is released a few days before and a week afterwards mxit keeps bombing out. honestly it pisses me off!

Right, considering 5.2 is supposed to be exclusive to Freestyler users, WTH?

I know it will be released to all at a later stage, but DAMN, thats funny...

Anyhow, I dont use mxit... have it on my phone, yet hate it...

I happened to be subscribed to this Freestyler thingy and I downloaded v5.2 to check it out. Cant see what all the hype is about, everything looks the same except one or two more options on the menu... thats it. Its seriously not worth all the excitement and anticipation!

OK I got it earlier today and by far the best feature of it is the smooth scrolling, no more having to repeatedly tap buttons to scroll, you just hold down the button to scroll, though I wonder why it was so difficult to include such a simplistic feature in the first place?

Also with the audio file support, I haven't quite figured it out yet, what does it entail? Or am I correct in assuming that MXit will play an audio file that is sent to you?

As for everyone having access to the gallery, I wonder if I didn't play a part in this change with what I vented here?

Maybe it's just me, but logging in time seems drastically reduced?

i agree. new features not worth paying 4. i'd wait. and i go bing now.

EDIT: BTW i was wondering if anyone knows of a chat program that is like pidgin(a chat program 4 pc) but can be used on the mobile. i got mova messenger. but it gives me problems.
