How do I stop the history function from working on IE <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_confused.gif">

Open IE Normaly then click on "TOOLS" on the menu ontop then click on "INTERNET OPTIONS" then go to the "GENERAL" tab and look at the bottom off the window there you see the history box then you set the days to keep history to "0"

Well, it should have worked for webpage history (browsing history). Your question is not very clear, because you just want to "turn off history", but which history?

<BR>Another type of history is the Autocomplete history which lets you fill in some webpage addresses and forms by suggesting words that you typed previously. To turn this sort of history off, you need to go to "Tools" and "Internet options" and then "Content", then click on "Autocomplete" and if there are items that is ticked, you should untick them, and then click on "Clear Forms" and "Clear Passwords".
