There are sites where you put in your email addy and they send you a gmail invite for free!!! Ill try find them again then post them here!

yeah you gotta get invited. gmail is pretty cool. they always adding stuff to gmail aswell to make it that bit better

I have a gmail account but dont use it...I like bluebottle!!! They very good...very reasonable too. Free aswelL!

I used bluebottle for a little while, but I stopped because they're on a lot of spam blacklists, and a lot of my mail wasn't being delivered.
I'm much happier with GMail

I think gmail is the best,especially the pop3 feature.for those with ISP email accounts what happens when you change service providers?

Google account can be signed up for, but that
does not give you a
Gmail account. The only way to get into Gmail, is to be invited.
Just ask anybody with a Gmail account for an invite, even strangers will give them to you coz we receive hundreds!
What is this "Microsoft" that you speak of? Washing powder? Coffee? Correction fluid? I can't figure it out. Anyone else know?

gmail rulz, has got pop3 option plus you can check it anywhere and free !!!
