Flash is relatively simple to learn the basics for. It's actually a pretty flexible and intuitive program, and has become quite a respectable animation medium!

You should grab a demo from Adobe's site and check it out because it's loads of fun.

Yeah, what these people have done are REALLY impressive at places.

I'll take up the offer too. Seems like fun.
I'll go check it out.

Those are some nice samples.

Busy developing a CMS system with a XML and PHP backend.

Flash is a very powerful tool. Not just for animation but also for development.

I've always been interested in Flash CMS systems. I still believe in rather mixing Flash with HTML for the search engines.

I think the sites in those links I posted make use of a 3D app then they export the artwork as vector files. Me and a mate are currently planning a project like that.

I like your site..

Thanks.

3D Studio Max, Blender, Swift etc are all used. The animation is exported as frames and then imported into Flash.

Very handy to be able to implement 3D in flash design. It opens up a whole new world

How good is you actionscripting?

I studied ActionScript, but unfortunately do not have much working experience of it. I understand and know how the things are done, just a matter of getting some more practice. It's difficult to thumbsuck projects and work on them if you are not getting paid for it...

OMW, that Neostream ones model is awesome...

I have a template of a flash one which also uses a 3D Studio model of a robot that is animated in the foreground the whole time, unless you switch him off...

Mm, you can't maybe remember where the original link was that you downloaded it from? Don't want to put you out.

If you can't, don't bother, I'm sure Googling will bring something up...

Thanx
