In the animal kingdom they don't do it becasue they're a different SPECIES.

The topic here is interacial relationships......people can be of different race, but share the same religion. You get white christians as well as Black/Indian/Coloured Christians (for example)

I think inter racial relationships is fine, we're all human beings. I'm a Christian and think it's fine, but know of a lot of holier than thou Christians that disagree with it.

I dont understand why they (holier than thou Christants) have a problem with it as I do not know what Christianity has to do with the subject matter. Is there something in the Bible that I'm missing?

No,no Alpha, this applies only to real Christian believers, it cannot be applied to anyone that does not believe in Christianity! I am not talking about nominal Christians here, the baptism, wedding, funeral and the odd Christmas, Easter types. It is not something to beat some poor persons back with. It is the reason why Christian beleivers should not mingle their faith with with others, it is a sure recipe for strife and failure of a relationship.

Okay enough with the BIBLE context quating lancelot....yes some of us do read it but this topic is about how we feel about it....In my personal oppinion it is each persons personal choice and he/she has to live with that choice..If you love some one deeply and truly you will cross any barrier and obsticale neccesarry to be with that person....and Dae_ja_voo....You don't neccesarily need to forsake God to love someone of a differant culture eg. Muslims they believe in God the one true God we believe in they just call him Alla... I understand where as you are speaking about hinduhism and budism where they prey to statues...

Ynoz, you're right. If you truely love someone, you'll do anything for them. I truelly love Jesus and will do anything for him, including leave someone who could potentially be the love of my life.

See what i'm saying?! There are so many ways to look at it. I will NOT forfeit my beliefs for anyone. Sure muslims believe in God, but is Jesus a God to them?! No, he's but a prophet.

There are many many ways of looking at these things.

This is why i initially didn't want any religious posts, because within the next half an hour, i'm gonna have posts thrown at me about how i take it too seriously or whatever.

Yeah, it's quite a personal question and I have no problem with people who would not do it personally, but are happy to let others do what makes them happy.
