This one looks pretty cool:
The benq FP71G.

What do you mean by: Digital Panel (DVI Input)?
What is that? Sorry I dont know those terms.
On the site they talk about an Analog D-SUB display cable, is that the normal dislay cable? I guess so.

yea, maybe its just me, but if i'm gonna spend like R1899 to R2000 on a screen, i would REALLY want a DVI input....
A DVI input is a digital way to connect the pc to the panel, u know that big white connector on your graphics card? it uses that instead on the normal 15-Pin D-Sub.....
I really like the BenQ monitors, there Cheap, well spec'd, and they have the wonderous 3 year Warranty

OK, i'll think about it, and talk to my parents!MindBender wrote:In Braam Pretorius street, in Club Gables.
Drive up Braam Pretorius away from Makro, 3rd intersection you should see a small complex, turn left, then right again into Jonie, my shop is on the right hand side. (Across the way from Deo Gloria Steakhouse)
If you're going for a 17" try to get an Acer AL1751B as it has a 6ms response time for only a few more bucks than 8ms LCD's....just don't buy the one in the link as it's way too expensive there, i got mine for R2600 @ a local PC shop where i live and they are already known to be a bit steep with their prices but i was in a hurry so yeah....WiK1d wrote:I'm also in the market for a LCD, a 17" will be fine, and less than R2K if possible...the BenQ's are like R1.8K
If you have some connections for pc stuff you'll get it for a lot less
