hi guys

my mom is going to america for a week or so.

what pc parts would be cheaper there than here?

i am looking @ spending R3000.
mother board
cpu
ram
maybe graphics and hdd

Everything should be cheaper there, why dont you check a US Website, or check EbaY.com for some pricing!!

Usually the Transprt cost is the problem, but as you say your mom is going there, that shouldnt be a problem

i dont belive da whole stuff cheaper in america idea all the sites i have seen and when my dad went there on business all the stuff was basically same prices and logically it shud be no cheaper coz its all made in china anywa!:)this speach is what you get for hijacking my idea!:)

Ok somebody lied to you, or you are clearly looking in the wrong places, cause if you take a look at a site like www.newegg.com, you would struggle to find anything that goes for the same price as here in RSA.

Newegg is the best, they delive 2 ure door with Fedex forabout 5$ and you pay no tax beacause ou buy online. go to shops and u haveto pay 6% in most places somet states more and in some parts nothing. Newegg is by far the best!

Yeah, except for the fact you conveniently forgot to mention -

they don't ship to SA.
