This is my first try at doing anything like this, any advice on how I can improve it will be much appreciated.

Also how can I make it that I just can type in "www.nelspruit.com or org or net" iso that funny long name?

Maybe make an information home page and have a link to the forums? A downloads section? The histo0ry of Nelspruit.

You need to register a site domain at a web host. The cheapest is serv.co.za but they don't offer as many services as the slightly more expensive ones.

or get a za.net for absolutely free! No ads or banners!

Visit here and if you do decide to go for it, go for package 3, its the best out of the three free packages!
