same, have been at a lan since Tuesday morning. But played some awesome old school battlefield 2, all of us against 64bots on max difficulty

Brought back memories of my old P4 and 17"CRT......and how it would be soooo slow with that rubbish FX5500(worst card I have ever owned )

Battlefield 1942 was still the best at LAN's imo- back in the day

Then you know how depressed I was when I got it to replace my ATI 9250 and it made things almost no faster

Also it never ran Doom 3 properly, if there was a map/level with any smoke then everything would appear in blue and I could only see things that were right in front of me So I ditched it and went back to the 9250 until I got a 6800

Battlefield 1942 was still the best at LAN's imo- back in the day

I remember trying to get that to run on my AMD k6-2, ran like a slide show

But battlefield Vietnam has been my favourite, pitty it does not work properly on windows 7

only now enjoy the odd game here and there where can get buds on TS and join them,

EA DC'd me about 5-6 times last nite , i eventually gave up hope and went to play HoN - so it could not have been a problem with my connection, since my ping was fine for SA HoN games

HoN, eish. Played that more than I would have liked at the LAN I went to.....I did manage to get some kills though.

My ping has been unusually low today, its usually around 100-160 but today it was sitting around 20-70. Not complaining but I have never got that before
