Dell XPS 15z?

Ok new laptop time :mrgreen:.

I was looking at getting the dell XPS 15z as follows:

Model:XPS 15Z
Screen:15.6" FHD+WLED (1920 x 1080)
Processor:Intel® Core i5-2410M (2.3GHz)
Memory:6GB (1x4Gb + 1x2GB) 1333MHz DDR3
Hard Drive:750GB (7200RPM)
DVD-ROM:8X DVD+/-RW
Operating System:MS WIN 7 Home Premium (64 BIT)
Wireless and Bluetooth:N 1000 & BLUETOOTH
Keyboard:Backlit Keyboard
Webcam:1.3 Mega Pixel Integrated Camera
Graphics:NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M 2GB
Warranty:3 Year Next Business Day
Battery:8-cell 56WHr Li-Ion Battery

Subtotal:R12,840.35
VATR1,797.65
Total:R14,638.00

Is it worth it? It has a solid aluminium body same as the macbook pro and infact is actually thinner.
Would you suggest something else in the same price range? Battery life and portability are very important.

I can vouch for the NBD warranty... ALWAYS worked, no problems!
My Vostro battery, the 9 cell or something, didnt last 3 years though... its sitting at only 15% after 3 years and 4 months, so im lucky to get 20minutes on a charge.
But otherwise, i dont see why not to go for the Dell!

But surely if the battery goes before the 3yrs they'll replace it

No! Batteries are consumables.

But if the LCD back light goes, they'll replace it.
or the optical drive... or the power supply...
All problems i had which they sorted out next business day!
