Radeon 6970 not running on my TV

Hey guys

I have a new Radeon 6970 and I'm trying to run it via my pc through my Samsung 40" LED Tv. I cannot get it to work. I took some screen shots of the problem. Im quite familiar with CCC and my 5850 runs perfectly on the Tv. I've tried to install the drivers from disk and latest from the internet for the 6970 and still no luck. I even went and got another different brand hdmi cable and still nothing! I'm getting really frustrated and feel i wasted alot of money on this junk.

If anyone can assist it'll be much appreciated.

Use a file hosting server like imageshack or something, upload them there then it gives u a path that u post onto the thread and the pics should upload. (PS I've never done this first hand, I use my phone to browse the forum). And could you give us more detail on what the problem is? Is ccc picking up another monitor? Is ther tv blank the whole time?

Ok thx. The first 2 images is what happens with the 6970 and the last one is my 5850 working like it should.

CCC sees the tv but once you select to either duplicate or extend the screens it splashes out a msg " This operation is not supported on current display configuration." It's as if a connection cannot be made. With my 5850 it doesn't do this and works great.

I've tried about everything i could think of or find in forums.
