Crysis 2 Graphics problem

Post by KaosHunter »

Whats up guys :)

Recently bought myself crysis 2 and installed it and everything went smoothly until i began to play it.
the screen flickered and the flickering just gets worse and worse i mean it became more of a strobe light.
I tried to change graphics settings but it only gives me the option of high, very high or extreme and on all the flickering continues, i also tryed taking of vSync which actually dropped the Fps which jumps around from 60 to 25( not sure if that's the problem either) Do your guys think its my graphics cards not handling it ?

Your 5870s should handle it no problem. I run it maxed out with a 6870. Try disabling one of your cards and run it with one card. Crysis 2 has issues with dual gpus

Download and install the latest patch from http://www.gamefront.com/crysis-2-patch-v1-1-download/

This should fix the problem if not there is a few more tricks that can be tried.

As I said in my previous post, install the latest patch from http://www.gamefront.com/crysis-2-patch-v1-1-download/

It's not a driver issue, but a game problem with some of the lighting, I had insane flickering and this fixes it.
