We have one Modem in Living Room and one Spare modem. I have a Desktop in my Room, can I link the Desktop to the spare modem with cable and the spare modem to the modem in Livingroom Wireless? and if, how with Win 7. They are completely different modems.

Well, I don't think Windows 7 has anything to do with it. The modem in the living room must be configured to be an access point or something like that, and the modem in the other room must be configured to connect to that access point. Where are the wireless experts when you need them?
