LucidLogix, the manufacturer of the HydraLogix engine, has released a new graphics board architecture that will allow cross-brand multi-GPU setups on any motherboard. Until recently the only way to have a multi-GPU setup comprising of both AMD and Nvidia cards was to have them in a motherboard that possessed the HydraLogix engine (previously known as Hydra

In the past nvidia has removed physx capabilities when trying to run a ati card with your geforce. Mixing rendering paths and drivers sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen.
