NOTICE! Error in PCF June 2010
Hi guys
I fouled up and did not check the SMS number for the Cogage Arrow competition on pg 36
Please note that the 41319 number is INCORRECT.
The CORRECT number is 41931.
This competition will run till the end of August 2010 to make up for the problem.
I am sorry for any problems caused.
Regards
Michael Reed

Oooh - are they going to fail you for this KB? Shame. They seem to forget that everyone makes mistakes. But then - this was in a mag and for a competition ........

@doo_much lol. thats so true.. considering i never enter competitions( because i always fail at winning) you stand a better chance now. also there are many inactive members on the forums.
@KB. you may need to find an alternative means to fix these type of issues in future.

Does this mean that a whole bunch of PCF readers just entered a competition to win the latest Justin Bieber CD?

KB, why not just get the number changed to the one that got printed?

Having dealt with the whole shortcode allocation process myself, I can tell you that that's much easier said than done.Monty wrote:KB, why not just get the number changed to the one that got printed?

especially while the other shortcode is inactive it is owned by another company i.e. not the company we deal with.Ron2K wrote:Having dealt with the whole shortcode allocation process myself, I can tell you that that's much easier said than done.Monty wrote:KB, why not just get the number changed to the one that got printed?

Isn't announcing this on the forum the wrong way to do it? I don't care, but Im sure many readers will be upset and think its unfair. Just let it slide, and make a big announcement in the next issue?
