Hay guys!
Just wondering if anybody managed to install a HSDPA USB Modem onto a Ubuntu OS?
The drivers on the device are only Win2k, Vista and XP. Did some googling and it seems one does not simply download and install the driver. When I plug in the device it only reads as a USB storage device (which one would expect of course).
The exact model of the device is the Huawei E220 running on Ubuntu 9.10
Any ideas or tips would be great!
Cheers

Re: 3G Modem on Ubuntu
I installed WINE and flashed the 3G card with the generic connection software and it works.
