All ports open?

How do I check to see if all my ports on my router is open/enabled? Currently my home dsl cannot play any games local or internasional. I cant even check my security cameras. Anyway to check port shaping in general?

You have to open the ports you need. Different routers have different names for it (for example, on my netgear router its under "firewall rules") So lets say you want to use remote desktop, you will need to forward port 3389 to the IP address of the PC you want to use it on.
