Do It Yourself Mod

I was going to attempt modding a mouse. I want it to become a silent mouse you see.
Here is a tutorial that was going to be my aide.

I did some googling and found out ther alreaddy exist a few kinds of silent mice But I would rather that importing was my last resort.

What do you guys think are the chances of pulling this mod off and What type of mice do you recomend I start with?

Ive noticed my microsoft optical mouse doesn't budge easily when trying to life off the cover(tried cleaning it a while ago). I hope there is a person amoungs you who can help me in this regard.
