erm, i think just about everyone that was using vista is now using win7, so i don't see much discussion happening here.

Yeah; when I read the thread title, I though "seriously, are people actually still using Vista?"

Look guys. This thread is already off-topic.
Either stick to discussing Vista SP2 or stay out.
I will be updating my laptop to Vista SP2 during the day and report back.

Vista SP2 beta already resolved some issues for me, so I'm sure the final release will be beneficial.

Running it on my work PC (got a PC upgrade, so my network admin decided that I would be the guinea pig). Haven't noticed any differences.

installed it this am on my pc.... havent noticed any difference or speed increase as yet...

Damn that's a pity. SP1 made a huge improvement to the boot speed on my old laptop - but it was still slow.
And just about every computer you buy these days comes with Vista...

I'm still on Vista, I downloaded *some* update this morning, nothing has broken yet, so... so far so good?
