It's nice to see previously niche games, like Persona 4, in the top 10.

The top 10 seems okay, but I don't agree with all the choices they made. In terms of the bottom 10, I've never heard of any of those games.

Ive also never heard of most of those game in the top 10 worst.PS3 in the top 4.only 1 in the crappiest games.Interesting.

How can the top 10 have titles that share spots? If 2 games take a 2nd spot for example the 3rd spot falls away doesnt it?

Metacritic is a site that takes review scores from many popular magazines and websites and returns an average score. So nobody chose that list, its just the average of the scores that the games received this year.

That list is pretty spot on IMO.

List seems about 99% correct. The hype around GTA4 caused the high scrore I think but thank goodness the game lived up to it.

I've played 6 of the top 10 and while I have played better this year, they do deserve the spot.

Oh man, I just wish the PC version did. What a lazy port!

Otherwise, I've got to agree with the list fully.

What I'm glad about is that a large portion of the games on the list I bought this year!
