Lan house, gaming cafe

Post by Freakazo »

We are starting a small lan house (internet cafe with games) and just wanted to know if there isn't a license or something just for lan houses so that we don't have to buy a single game for every PC?

And what's your views on lan houses?

Freakazo.

You seriously need to go an read the license agreements on those games. If you buy a game off the shelf it is licensed for private use only. You may not use it for commercial purposes. You will need to contact the distributors of each game and ask for permission. They will probably nail you with yearly fee.
