i just got this Code 10 PS2 Mouse Error in Vista and then the mouse just dont pick up,
Im in xp now and the mouse works fine,

Uninstall vista and re-install XP should solve ur problem!

try a non PS2 mouse?

Check to see if you don't have any bent pins on the PS/2 mouse. Did you try to use a different mouse?
If you still have the problem after trying a different PS/2 mouse, then I suspect that your mouse port on your mobo might be faulty.
I had a friend who's PS/2 keyboard used to do the same, but only in windows. He would be able to use it in windows, so thee was a driver issue. Mouse....not so sure...

Jokes. Usually it's the pins or connection or the mouse it's self. Either way I would still get a USB mouse. Get with the...you know the rest.
