Post by tjecco »

I'm i being a complete noob? Is this game not suppose to include "The Settlers 5: Heritage of Kings" and the expansion disc.

I just got my copy and it's just the dam expansion disc.

WTF

What must i do with the expansion disc if i don't have the game. The idiots at take 2 told me it was the original game with the expansion.

If you didnt get the original with it then youve been taken for a ride. Gold Edition normally means original and expansion(s) in one bundle

Just what i was thinking!

And here i thought now that i have finally built my pc i can go out and buy games and then this happens. i also bought Resident Evil 4 but the game keeps crashing.

I'm busy downloading the patch now. again More money wasn't.

I'm really starting to see why people just steal games. :(

take it back to take2 for a refund or a replacement, show them that little snippet of yours from ubisoft. if they argue and decline to refund do something rash, like threaten to take them to the papers or something. in the legal(and moral) direction(legal as in the law legality) i wouldnt have a clue on the direction to go, other members here are more suited for that

Tell them no. You just held the box up to your ear, but the less than convincing vibration, and the fact that it only got lukewarm when you immersed it in your toilet, makes you suspect that the expansion alone is in there. Ask them if they think you should open it just to be sure.
