Ohh! The front audio should have connectors that you plug in to headers on the motherboard. Depending on what motherboard you have, the board will either auto-detect when you plug in headphones and automatically reroute the sound to the front audio, or you will have to set jumpers. Check with your m...

Kinda bored, so i decided to post some random pic off my HD. Think this was from the Indianapolis (spelling?) circuit last year. I think the safety car was still returning to the pits, Michael was not supposed to pass Barrichello until the next lap, and the start/finish line was a couple metres away...

What hassles? I heard someone say once that Sony, not the brand itself, but their car sound products are not very good. Now that i think about it though, one of the Xplod 6x9's in my dad's car has started making wierd noises. Whenever the bass starts coming through, it sort of rattles so i thought s...

Well, if the card is working in 5.1 mode, then you won't get all sounds coming through the headphones, but they would probably work best on the ouput for front L&R, although, on some DVD's the main sounds com from the center speaker. If you can set the card to work in 2-channel mode, then enable...

I think the DVD-player thing is a good idea. I would also prefer a roof-mounted/seperate screen, coz i don't know how durable these decks with built-in screens are. What deck are u looking at?

In my dad's car, there are 2 Sony Xplod 6x9's and 2 10cm mids in the front, all running off an old Alpine 35Wx4 frontloader, and i have no problems with quality. In fact, the 6x9's in my dad's car sound better, and more erm, bodied? than some 6x9's i've heard in other hatchbacks. However, I've notic...

One's ability to tell the difference between 128k, 160, 192, also depends on the quality of your speakers, etc. I can't seem to tell the difference at anything higher than 160k. Eg I can tell between 128k, and 160k, but not between 192 and 320k. I use the 'variable' option at '100%'. Exactly what th...

What annoys me the most is these boombox hero's with their sound cruising past you in banged up, dented old mazda's/fords - with sound hardware worth triple what the car is worth. Yeah, I agree, but what is even worse is when you get guys with no-name brand amps, powering 50 no-name brand (R10 a pa...

The original GTi was a legend, just like the original GSi Superboss! The new GTi's and GSi's have totally lost that status appeal!
Corrrrrect, dude! RESPEK!!! The only Gti 'legends' were those until Golf 3, maybe Golf 4.

This is digressing, but I will ask anyhow: is this game being made for PS3 and then ported to PC? IF so, does this mean that it will be easier for the game designers to make the game multi threaded and hence use a dual core CPU? Just curious. I don't think this game will be just ported to PC. They ...
