.swf Sigs
What u guys think of camreron allowing us to use .swf formats in our sigs.
Advantages:
• Small but high quality animations (Way smaller than a gif would be and
high quality)
• U cant steal the persons sig!!
• U can put small games (Like 15KB is the size of a small game)
• U can make it interavtive e.g. Have a sig that has uttons so If u click on
a about me button it will show info about the person then if u click specs
it shows the persons specs
Disadvantages:
• If users go overboard and put sound in their sigs. But this can be
controlled by cameron taking away their avatar rights if they do

Yeah, swf sigs would be awesome! I wanted to do that, but it also didn't work. Only gif's work, which are usually way too large in file size.

Excuse my ignorance, but is it not easier to plant a virus in a .swf than in a jpeg or gif file?
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

I have though of this before and I definitely agree with the_nominator. Small .swfs would be awsome as sigs.
Jee:: I think you are too paranoid. It would be fiendishly difficult to get a browser to execute code within a jpeg sig in the first place and I think flash player is quite a safe platform to run flash files from. Also, I think that the PCF community is quite a safe one, so I wouldn't worry too much.
