It's not fair me with my pitiful 6000 in 3D Mark03 and 42000 in
Aquamark 3 :( . Oh well it's not the lowest. Thats some hectic scores there Solo and very well done. 80515 in Aquamark 8O Thats more than double mine.

Your 3d Mark 2001se score is just about doulbe that of mine, plus another two thousand :(

erm... :lol: Correct me if i am wrong but 2 x 42000 > 80515...

Well from now on, i am going to be in direct competition with solo, except that i will be running 3DMark 2003... :wink:

Right there, too late for me though, i downloaded 3DMark05 yesterday........time to go for ATI X800 8O

I was kina shocked atually when i saw it ran between 1-3 fps 8O

Weird......Doom3 runs ok on my PC but still :( ...........................

How much do u guys think I will get on my new rig? (Don't have the GFX card and sum other stuff yet [card stuck at customs])

-AMD 3700+
-1Gb DDR400 Samsung RAM
-ABIT KV8 MAX3
-Gainward GeForce 6800 Ultra
-Air cooled

Solo, do u have water cooling? Did u OC to get those scores or are they stock? What are ur temps?

Sheesh Solo... your score in 2005 in 1.5 times mine in 2003 :cry: :cry:

Dammod , add some Phase Cooling and another 6800 Ultra and you should be able to drop solo... I think...

I was looking into buying a FX6800 but looks like i'll be trying out ATI for a while.......damn those things are fast :twisted:

Phase cooling was in a PCf a while ago, showing a diagram of how it works... Cant explain it in words really, but its more effective {And safer} than water cooling if I have my facts straight...

Mr Bean has it , hed propably be able to help you in detail...

I would have to get a new mobo then :( . I am not rich so I can't afford that kind of stuff. Don't u think my PC is ok :? . Do I really need that to beat him? Does he OC alot? If so by how much?

phase change is a lot like mounting an airconditioning unit on your cpu. the temps go below 0 degrees allowing a much greater overclock. i think solo was running his cpu at about 2.875ghz and his card at 550/580 for core/mem.

those units are usually between 5 and 10k. check synapsis.co.za {sp}
i had a 3700+ up to 2.66ghz on air for benching only. +-2550 would be a better 24/7 setting
