Email problems

Post by SerialHunter »

Could anyone help please!

Very irritating problem… When I click on an Email address inside an Internet Explorer window I get the following error…

“Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed”

I click on OK and Internet Explorer then opens about 30 Explorer windows with the very known “page cannot be displayed” message.

My system then continues to hang up.

I have IE.6 installed and run Microsoft Outlook.

But we were Dragons. We were supposed to be cruel, cunning, heartless, and terrible. But this much I can tell you, you ape - we never burned and tortured and ripped one another apart and called it morality.

You could fix it in Internet Explorer.

In IE
Click Tools - Internet Options
Select the Programs tab
Make Outlook your default Email Client

Then...

It might be a good idea to reinstall whatever is causing the problem

[ Edited by Cameron Losco On Date
August 26, 2002 ]
