Are there any members who have sites for "electric guitar" tutoring (chords, pic's & sound). Would like to obtain music sheets and the such.
Also looking for good tutor sofware for guitars.
Need to become a "pro" by Monday evening.
Electric Guitar Web Sites
Hi Knight
I've been guitar for around 8 months or so now, and have just moved from Beginner to Intermediate IMO, and i can tell you that whatever i learnt i've learnt using a PC and the internet, so good on you!
Well firstly to get lessons, there are quite a few sites, i don't know a few sites off-hand, so search for it using google.
Heres a few:
DANSM's guitar page - some good guitar theory and beginner lessons
www.Ultimateguitar.com - some great lessons and a whole lot of guitar tabs(like music sheets)
www.OLGA.com - online guitar archive, has quite a few tabs.
Get this software - its called Super guitar chord finder, it gives you many many chords to learn, also has scales, a tuner etc. Rather beneficial piece of software. Then theres Guitar calculator Pro, it has a chord and scale dictionary, rather useful. Then theres tuner software, i use AP Guitar tuner, i find it rather easy to use, it requires a Mic to tune! Also search for a free e-book called Learn to Play Guitar 3.0, it is simple and good for learning the basics over the weekend.
Cheers, hopet this helps
