I´m trying to get Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction to work on my network. I specify the server adress but it says it cannot connect to server.
 My 2 network computers are , Win XP , 2000+ AMD and Win p8 P3 600.
 Can anyone help?

Can your machines see each other normally, like thru windows? Make sure you are typing in the IP address properly.

Between 2 different operating systems you have to add the other pc´s computers ip into yours pc´s gateway. If usuing windows 2000 on one you need to install ipx and tcp/ip on both machines. Go to network neighbouhood and run setup a new connection, when finished change ip number to something like
 10.1.1.1 nad other to 10.1.1.2
 subnet mask to
